Fried Bananas-Two Ways
1 Banana
1 Tsp Cinnamon
1/4 Tsp. Nutmeg
1/4 C. Panko Breading
1/4 C. Shredded Coconut
1 Tbsp Butter
1/8 C. Dark Chocolate Chips, Melted
1/2 Tbsp. Honey
Slice ends off banana. Cut the rest of the banana into halves and then each half into 8 thin slices. Mix together the cinnamon and nutmeg. Sprinkle evenly over banana slices. Coat 8 of the slices in the Panko and 8 of the slices in coconut. Press gently so the bananas do not fall apart.
Melt the butter on medium heat in saute pan. Place the banana slices in the pan. Cook for about 5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
Drizzle melted chocolate over bananas with coconut and honey over the bananas coated with the Panko.
