Pistachio Crusted Tuna Steaks with Wasabi Sauce



For the Tuna Steaks:
2 1" Thick Ahi Tuna Steaks
Salt
Pepper
1/2 C. Pistachios, remove from shell and crushed
1 Tbsp. Peanut Oil

For the Wasabi Sauce:
1/4 C. Water
1 1/2 Tbsp. Wasabi Paste
1 Tbsp. Soy Sauce
1/2 Tbsp. White Rice Wine
1 Tsp. Sesame Oil
1/2 Tsp. Sugar

Mix all ingredients for Wasabi sauce well in small bowl. Set aside for at least 20 minutes before serving.
Heat Peanut oil in medium sized stove top pan on medium heat. Coat tuna steaks in salt and pepper. Spread out crushed pistachios on wax paper. Place tuna steaks over pistachios and push gently, making sure not to flatten the tuna. Do this with each side. Place tuna steaks in the pan on the stove. Brown on each side, leaving the inside rare. Serve with wasabi sauce.
