Caramel Apple Bread Pudding
4 Slices of Day Old Bread (I used Gluten Free and it worked well!)
1 Apple (of your choice), Peeled and Sliced
1 Tbsp. Butter, Melted
1 C. Heavy Cream
2 Eggs
2 Tbsp. Caramel Sauce + Extra
1 Tsp. Cinnamon
1/4 Tsp. Nutmeg
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place bread and apples in medium sized bowl and pour melted butter over the top. In a second bowl, combine cream, eggs, 2 tbsp caramel sauce, cinnamon and nutmeg. Place bread and apples in oven safe ramekins and set ramekins on an oven safe pan or cookie sheet for easy removal. Pour cream and egg mixture over bread and apples until ramekins are just about full. Drizzle extra caramel sauce over bread. Place in oven for 45 minutes.
