Simple Gluten Free Mozzarella Sticks

1 C. Gluten Free Bread Crumbs
1/4 C. Parmesan Cheese
1 Tbsp. Italian Seasoning
16 pieces of Mozzarella String Cheese
1 Egg

 On a plate, combine bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese and Italian Seasoning. Dip each piece of cheese into the egg then into the bread crumb mixture. When finished with all 6, place in freezer for a minimum of two hours. Heat oil in deep fryer according to the instructions from the fryer. Carefully place frozen mozzarella sticks into the fryer one at a time. Fry until golden brown. Set on a plate covered in paper towel before serving to remove excess grease. If needed, place in oven on low to keep warm while cooking the remainder of the mozzarella sticks.

1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
1 Garlic Clove, Minced
16 oz. Tomato Sauce
1/2 Tbsp. Dried Basil
1/2 Tbsp. Dried Parsley
2 Tsp. Dried Oregano
2 Tsp. Sugar
Pinch of Salt

Heat oil on medium in a small sauce pan. Add garlic. Let cook for about 3 minutes before adding tomato sauce. Add remaining ingredients and reduce heat to low. Let simmer until ready to serve the mozzarella sticks.
