Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Whiskey Brownies

  • 1 C. Butter, melted
  • 1 Tbsp. Vanilla Extract
  • 3 Eggs, at room temperature 
  • 1 C. Granulated Sugar
  • 1 C. Brown Sugar, lightly packed
  • 3/4 C. Dark Cocoa Powder
  • 1 C. Flour
  • 1 Tsp. Sea Salt
  • 1 1/2 C. Dark Chocolate Chips
    Powdered sugar (optional)


Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, combine melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract and whiskey, mixing to combine all ingredients. Add the white and brown sugars together and whisk well. Sift the cocoa powder, flour and salt into the bowl and mix until just combined. Toss in chocolate chips and fold into the batter. Add the batter to the pan and smooth to the edges. Bake for about 30 minutes, until the center is just set. The center will not wiggle when the pan is moved if it is fully set. Let cool before cutting and serving. Sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired.
