Homemade Breath Freshener Dog Treats
Switching it up with a recipe for your fur babies!
My pup loves these easy to make breath freshening dog treats. And if you have mint growing like crazy like I do, you'll appreciate having another way to use it!
1 1/2 c. old fashioned oats, pulsed in blender
1 c. fresh mint, chopped fine
2 eggs
1/4 c. water
3 tbsp. melted coconut oil or sunflower oil
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Use a blender to pulse oats into a powder until almost flour like. Add mint and pulse again until chopped. Combine eggs, water and oil. Fold in oat/mint mixture and combine well. Press evenly onto a piece of parchment paper. Use a cookie cutter to cut into shapes. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place cut treats on. Bake for 30 minutes.
