Garlic Butter Steak Bites
Ingredients:
1 tbsp olive oil
1 1/2 lb. sirloin steak (cut in to 1" cubes)
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
2 tbsp butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Directions:
Add olive oil to large skillet and heat on high. Once heated, add steak pieces. Season with salt and pepper. Sear until browned on all sides, about 2-4 minutes per side. Continue to cook until golden brown. Transfer to a plate and then turn heat to medium and add butter to the skillet. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds to 1 minute until the garlic has become golden and aromatic. Pour the garlic butter over the steak and toss well. Garnish with parsley.
Serve over potatoes with roasted brussels sprouts.
Pairing suggestion: Argentinian or Chilean Malbec.
