More Cocktail Party Ideas
Crispy sweet potato skins topped with BBQ pulled chicken (slow cook with your favorite BBQ sauce), red onion, bacon, cheddar cheese and sprouts.
Asian meatballs (slow cooked the day before in ketchup, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, sesame oil and brown sugar) in crispy wonton cups with chopped green onions
Steak (slow cooked in dark beer and espresso balsamic vinegar) crostinis with parmesan cheese and red onion. This first three hors d'oeuvres were prepped two days in advance. I did this by using a three tier slow cooker to fully cook all the meats in the sauces. This helped A LOT. When I wanted to serve, all I had to do was pretty much heat up, garnish and serve! Unfortunately I did not write down amounts of many of my recipes for this entry because I was so busy cooking everything :) Some of these are pretty straight forward and many don't really need EXACT amounts.
